TWO LAKES SELECTED TO REPRESENT BURUNDI AT DUBAI WORLD EXPO
The World Expo is an opportunity for nations to showcase their products and investment opportunities to the global business community. This year’s festivities, which were originally scheduled for 2020, are expected to draw in hundreds of thousands of visitors despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
In line with President Ndayishimye’s forward thinking, Burundi’s participation at the Dubai World Expo will be much larger than in previous years. Two Lakes has helped the Ministry of Commerce to organise twenty exhibition booths for Burundi’s national pavilion, in addition to preparing the inventory and logistics for the coffee, tea, and other export products that will be displayed.
Two Lakes will also be organising meetings between Burundian officials and potential investors who may be interested in the country’s stability, logistics importance, and pro-business environment. The government’s decisive actions during the early phases of the pandemic have allowed Burundi to avoid many of the direct effects of COVID-19. We believe that the domestic market reforms undertaken while the world “went on break” are game-changers when it comes to Burundi’s long-term growth and investment potential.
Two Lakes is excited to continue developing the Burundian pavilion for the Dubai World Expo and looks forward to showing the world that Burundi is ready for business.
